I used SAW briefly - i'm not the best person to say but since no one else has replied

pros : Excellent audio engine, responsive/low system requirements, excellent effects,

cons : Ugly interface IMHO, EXPENSIVE - that's a fact, bad MIDI IMHO, lacking in some areas (e.g. organisation for me)

yes i was rather unimpressed with how it looks

but i am looking to upgrade from a 2480 to a PC based DAW. i have a MAC G5 with Cubase SX 3 and even with an RME fireface 800 in front it never sounded as good as the 2480, not to mention i spent 6 months with SX 2 on the MAC in complete frustration

i was impressed with how it sounds and all the support it has, the developer himself is on the forum with you.
