When I'm working on this one film at home I am getting this weird problem when I seperate regions (command e). I'll cut a region and a bunch of regions in the region list will also cut. They don't cut in the timeline, just the list. I have to select unused regions and delete them or else it slows down performance. I am using LE 6.1.2 The session I am working on comes from a 24mix system. I'm not sure what version of pt it is. Has anyone else had this happen to them and is there anything I can do to correct it? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand what your problem is. When you (command e) a region in the middle of it, it should create three new files in the edit list. The one you need plus what is left of the region before and after you selection.
Are you saying other regions are being edited at the same time? Then it could be that you have non contigous track that are grouped to the one you're editing on. This track can be somewhere else above or under... out of sight. Or worse, it can be hidden.
If I were you, I'd check the group window and hidden tracks to make sure everything is clean.

What you can do, every once in a while on a edit heavy session, is a "select unused audio except whole files", then remove (not delete) from the session. This should get your system performance back to normal.
It is better than a simple "select unused audio", because it doesn't remove unedited elements that are only in your list and that you plan to use later on...

6.4 is the last version to support 001
