Ahaha, yes, RAM does go bad from time to time.
I once had this box that randomly threw blue screens but only during the daytime. It turned out to be that some components were faulty and malfunctioned at higher temperatures (here in Sunny Malaysia), so when I ran som RAM integrity testers, I was baffled by near-perfect results - I ran them at night.
It was only after a month or so when on impulse I ran the test again (during the day) that I nailed the culprit - probably some semiconductor related problems with the RAM.
Can RAM go bad?Yes! Some of it is not even good to begin with.

It can cause some bizarre behavior when it does.
There are hardware testers (big $$$$) and software.
PC or Mac?
