Some are also using them via TB, with but at FW800 speed.

USB 3 has screaming dats transfers, 6x2 should be no problem for any cpu equipped with it. Not sure if the Apollo is sub 3.0 or 3.1, I would expect escape silly since the processing is done in a hardware chip, performance is just fine. No problems s year in with my cousins FireWire Apollo,
I ish the twin had talkback. It's also the same original design and color, I wonder if it has the 1st or 2nd gen ua conversion. I think the pcie cards have 1.6 ms latency, but I don't remember being able to find any on the TB or FW or usb, so I'm wondering like Donny is, about how the rest of the system affects it.

It's sort of in-between, same spec as the original, but the Hi-Z features of the Blackface unison preamp.

I went to the site ( Thanks for the link, G. :) )
and read this with interest:
"Realtime UAD Processing - track through vintage Compressors, EQs, Tape Machines, and Guitar Amp plug-ins with near-zero latency ..."
I'm curious as to what they mean by "near zero latency".... taking into account that the PC's power and memory would also be a factor in determining that.
Has anyone here done this yet? Tracked through UAD plugs using a PC? Or is this interface too new for anyone here to have had a chance to use it yet?
