I just got my FireBox back from the repair shop and I thought I'd do a little side by side comparison. I compared the sound quality of plugging directly into my computer's onboard soundcard and plugging into an interface so that newbies/home recorders/hobbyists can hear exactly what the difference is and can come to their own conclusions.

Included are four files in MP3 (so that people who don't yet have DAW software can still easily listen) Two are the dry comparison files in which no post-processing was done. Two are the simulated comparison files which were HI/LO passed and processed by the new Logic Express 9 amp/pedal sims, which I am finding to be very fun to play with :D Exact same settings were used (copy/pasted).
