Ok Im on a tight budget when it comes to purchasing the rest of the equipment for my studio. By any means...I wouldn't normaly go cheap when buying monitors...but I have to budget the money I have left...
So how well would these monitors work for to acoustic projects and a full band project? My room deminsion is (LxWxH) 21x13x7.5'. The monitor placement will be 3 feet from their back wall and sides.

Thank you for your replys...I think the yamahas will be fine little monitors for my room, I do have a subwoofer, its a 10" Fluance sub that i'll probably use as a reference and such. The monitors will be postioned no wider than 4 feet.
but one more thing....what about Wharfedale DP8.2A Diamond Pro Active Monitors...I have pretty much narrowed my choices down to these 2...and I cant decide. The Wharfedale would probably better suit my room. Haha I just cant make a decision.
Any other accessories that I should consider getting for monitor setup?

Seems to me that a long time ago Wharfdale was a "name" in audiophile speakers? Before purchasing any today I'd read some reviews carefully(Sound On Sound or Mix). I wonder if it's now just a "name" like Emerson or Sylvania which used to be "good stuff" but are now just "names". I really don't know? Tell us what you know or what you find about Wharfdale. Frankly, these might be a tad on the small size to be "room filling". Still, if YOU will be pretty close to them they should be very nice. Irrespective of the price, they're good speakers. Even if you later get something larger you'll likely find plenty of uses for these. Go ahead and get 'em...
