Hi. I am going to build a soundproof booth because I have recently found myelf in a very noisy apartment and soundproofing is the only way to do this. Also, as i don't own the place, I can't really tear down walls or add windows to the apartment, so a booth is the only way to go.

So if you were in a place you could not alter and had to build a booth from scratch (instead of spending 5K on a "pro" booth) how would you build it? Or what tips could you give about materials and design?

Also, the place is noisy from the street and structure vibrations (there is an elevator nearby), so its going to be tricky.
