Hi Guys

I want to upgrade and purchase bigger midi controller keyboard. I know about AKAI, Alesis, Korg,and M-Audio. However I came across the Midiplus Keyboard Controller. The price seems to be attractive but I don't know so much about it.

My question is does the brand name really matter when it comes to midi keyboards? Has anyone purchase Midiplus?

Nope, never tried a Midiplus but it looks cool. It appears to look similar to the Nord.

Definitely quality would be my main concern then... I'd choose a MIDI controller that suits my needs.

Some examples:

  • weighted if you want the controller to feel more like an acoustic piano
  • drum pads
  • VCA
  • USB ports
  • MIDI ports
  • compatibility with your DAW or computer
  • key size
  • budget
