How can I set to where I can hear my voice when recording in Sonar 8? There is a button that does this on the audio track next to mute, solo etc. but it has such a delay that it is useless. If anyone knows a different way to hear myself or how to fix the delay please help.

Direct monitoring bypasses your DAW and goes directly through your hardware. Incidentally, what interface are you using? You should be able to lower your buffers to 128 without any issues. 64 with a high end CPU and a good motherboard/RAM and of course an interface with decent drivers.
