When I instert the L2 on the Master (1-2) in PT the Peak meter shows red. I master on the Same session)
When I make an Aux as a master output the everything is ok. Is it an error? Or it's got to do with pre or post?
What do you suggest to do?

Thanxx

First I would recommend getting it professionally mastererd. If you want to do it this way I suggest creating a new session with just the master stereo files. There is just a lot less that can go wrong or be left on and so forth.
I would need to run some tests to see what works best. I would start by putting the L2 and whatever else you are using on the master fader. See how that works. I would have the L2 after any eq or compression and use it to dither the file as well.
If you try this let me know how it works.

I agree with Joe, it's best no to master in the same session.

Either way, set up an aux track. Set the input of the Aux track to be the same as your master fader. Set the output of the Aux track to "no output".

Now you have a meter for BEFORE your L2 or anything else on your Master Fader. The meter on the actual Master Fader track is POST inserts. If your Aux track's meters are clipping, you need to lower the volumes on ALL your tracks, you're overloading the bus.

Hope this helps.

I mix on the same session bcause I want to know hao the L2 or the Finalizer reakts.
....and I can change some "mistakes" in the Session and not after with the Mastering.
It works fine for me this way....but ok I will do it in another session to hear the difference, if there is one.
Digidesign suggests the dithering on the Master fader.

Thanx alot
