My studio is changing dramatically over the next while.  I have been looking at doing one of these.  I am particularly interested in the BoxII.

Very cool, Paul! If I was upgrading my studio, I would definitely be looking at The Box 2 as well. If you go this route, I cannot wait to hear your experiences. So glad to hear your business is going well and allows you to be considering something like that.

Being said, for your particular A/V workflow, why in comparison to what you are using now?

Currently I am using 2 D&R modular consoles that give me 40 inputs and a bunch out great routing options.  I like the sound of it however it has seen better days and I am not that interested in putting in the time or money to get it back to perfect working order.  I may decide to downsize it to 16 input channels and 16 separate output channels. I need a pretty simple work flow now as much of what I do is fully ITB.  I do miss firing up all my channels and making an enormous analog mix.  It is not practical for me now that I am fully invested in video land.  The box II hits the sweet spot of what I need, is much smaller and I love the sound of API stuff.
