I'm quite new to this forum, and really to whole recording business. (I'm also sorry to throw in another mic preamp-question!) I own a small project studio and I produce mostly stuff for TV & Radio (themes, jingles, commercials, etc.).
I have digi OO2 rack and Pro Tools system. I'm in the marketing for a stero mic preamp (comp, eq, gate ). My maximum price range is about $3.500.
I want to have a vacuum tube.
Any suggestions?

Pentium 4 3.2ghz
2gig DDRRAM
40gig & 80 gig HDDs
Dual DVDRW
There are a few genres of music that consistently send certain toxic messages to the general public but that have the most powerful effect on children. One genre is Gansta-Rap. Another is death metal and other types of rock music which have "Satanic" messages or lyrics.
Okay. Let's overlook the fact that there isn't a viable DAW out for OS X yet... Yet!

Here's the drill,
I bought a couple of Palm handheld computer / organizers for me and the engineer at the studio. Idea being, fast updatable (syncronises with base computer(s) ) studio diary at all times, (even remote internet updating is possible)
Studio = Mac with Apple Talk active (ProControl needs it) NON USB

I need to know if there is any interface device that can provide 8 INPUTS and 32 OUTPUTS.Pro Tools will be the playback/edit machine and the mixdowm will be provided by a CINEMIX console.
I don't need 32 inputs and I don't wanna buy four 888 interfaces.
