have only heard md3/4 in the m6000 (guess it's the same..... )

although it sounds a bit cleaner to me than master x (master x sounds like a finalizer) i still don't like it at all... :-?

when i really have to use multiband comp (rarely) i use waves or tubetech hardware...

Thanks. My only concern with the past Mater X was that is sounded somewhat mettallic. Always make small cuts, avoid boosts.

Don't use these so I can't comment. Although I would like to sit with a 6000 for a bit and see how it sounds.

(have I posted this already?) I recently had a guy master some stuff for me using a 6000. It can definitely do the loudness thing. Sounds pretty good to me. And I don't necessarily mean this in a bad way, but it sounds like something only a digital device can do. Not the warmth and color that a lot of people like. But it kind of made my stuff sound more "digitally perfect." And dancing about architecture and all that.

The guy mentioned something about a Finalizer too, but I don't know what he was doing with that. Didn't make sense at the time and I didn't really question him on it. Maybe he was just likening it to a Finalizer.
