8 in 32 out! Is it possible?

Hi, everybody!

I need to know if there is any interface device that can provide 8 INPUTS and 32 OUTPUTS.Pro Tools will be the playback/edit machine and the mixdowm will be provided by a CINEMIX console.

I don't need 32 inputs and I don't wanna buy four 888 interfaces.

There is nothing from digi that will serve your perposes, except 4 x 888s. The only other option is to find another interface by a different manufacturer that supports the lightpipe specification and then get two Digi ADAT bridges.

Next week, a sound editor from USA will come here to mix a film and he'll bring his ProTools set up(It's cheaper than transcriptions to DA88 tapes).

The sound editor said to the studio's engineer that he has a good way to resolve this question.

The sound editor's setup is not different from what we already knew(3 x 888, IDE hard disks, to many plugins,etc).

I´m really sorry about the false expectations.
