Hey all,

Since I'm switching to spinning CD's from vinyl, I've been thinking that it would be really convenient to import all my CD's as AAC files (into itunes) so that I can burn my own playlists, and burn doubles for beat juggling.

So anyway, my question is this: AAC encoding sounds pretty good on just about every test I've put it through, but will it hold together really well on BIG soundsystems? Anyone out there in big venues spinning CD's that have source material from AAC files? I obviously would like to keep everything in AIFF, but the file size would be enormous and I'd quickly run out of HD space.
