I am thinking about buying a Neve 1272 racked by Dan Alexander. I was wodering if anyone has seen his work? It seems to cost a lot less than the same thing racked by Brent Averill or DAvid Marquette. Just looking for some info.

I've got a pair of his V72's with "master" volumes(actually, one is a V72S) and a pair of his racked 1272's. No complaints here... and he's a cool guy to boot! The 1272 I bought was used and didn't have the power supply. I called him at home and he overnighted me one for free!! Talk about service. Good luck.

I haven't seen Dan's 1272 thing...but he's been in the used gear game for probably 20 something years now...he has a pretty good idea of what he's doing.
