I'm looking for a plugin that will make my Yamaha workstation sound like a Hammond B3. Has anyone used this Plug-in before, and can you tell me a little about your experience with it?

You can use any keyboard as a controller for the B4, as long as your computer has MIDI in and your keyboard has MIDI out. the B4 can be used as a stand-alone synth, or you can use it as a VST instrument...I think there's even a MAS and some other options, as well as standard OMS support.

There are some user mods that will let you use the Tascam US-428 as a MIDI controller for the drawbars and other parameters on the B4.

The B4 DOES sound great, although I haven't been in the room with a live B4 before.

The psr 282 is not a bad key board, The keys feel really good, they are velocity sensitive, and they have after touch, it probably cost about the same as a cheap midi controller but you get decent sounds as a plus. Using it as a controller for soft synths, is an awesome idea, and with the cost and quality of these such as Native instruments, gigastudio, and reason, you will haqve pro quality sound, at garge band prices.
