Im looking at adding another pre/channel strip to my studio but i'm torn between these great units...the Avalon Sp737...UA 6176 and the UA LA-610. Considering I already have an Avalon 747 and a Focusrite ISA 220 the UA choices are looking more and more enticing. I would like to know what everyones experiences have been with any or all of these fine pieces and perhaps help with a recommendation to go alongside my U87 and TLM 103 mics.

Well thats the thing...the only place that rents out the UA stuff is fully booked until next month and thats way too long to wait. In regards to what im recording...its gonna be used primarily as a channel strip for vocals as the main priority but also something that I can utilise with other stuff too.

It depends on if this is a 10 round or 12 round fight. If its 1
It depends on if this is a 10 round or 12 round fight. If its 12 tounds, I think the extra two rounds will give UA an advatage since Avalon has a tendency to tire after 10. If so, I expect UA to win by KO in round 12. But if its only 10 rounds, the avalon has a better chance to win on points.
