I run my analog signal into an Apogee PSX-100SE, which then carries the signal into a Lynx AES16 card in my DAW. The Apogee shows the level at around -2 to 6dB, but the Lynx software mixer shows the signal at +12 to +16dB, and my recording application (Sound Forge) shows a level comprable to the Apogee (around -2 to -6dB). I cannot understand why they would show different signal levels... anyone have any thoughts about this?
Thank you.
