Hey all, who wins in a nock down drag out? I know its not a fair comparison since 1 has more Ins and outs and is more expensive but all I need is 8 TRS ins 2 TRS outs and I'm happy. So I guess the question is how the 1010s converters stack up. Also another question for you.. Is it possible to mix in Pro Tools even when tracking with another software using either of these converters. thanks

The Delta series converters are not as warm as the RME comverters. The Delta series seems to be too harsh in the high end to me where as the RME is pretty flat.

Having some phase testing and input/output tests the RME wins hands down.

Obviously with Pro Tools you have to use their hardware so you would need an Mbox, 001, 002 or an AMIII card to use Pro Tools LE.

You could probably run two applications at once but depending on your system and how beefy it is whether or not you could do it efficiently or not.

Most likley the answer is no as the Pro Tools LE will take up most of your memory.
