To expand, whatever type you choose, I'd watch out for them over time, with age they(patch bays) can degrade your signal. (dirt or grime that might accumulate on the jacks from normal use)
If you have to ask, on a forum, you're not ready for a patchbay... Do some more reading(Like "The Patchbay Handbook", or something...), when you're ready to own one, you'll know just which one. I've been doing this for a long time, I still don't know the finer points of patchbays, which is no shame, in and of itself, but I'm not going to be buying one soon, either...

Are the ins and outs of your equipment balanced or unbalanced? If you ever need to patch balanced to balanced, you should have a balanced patchbay.
