I'm thinking of getting another console for a small overdub room or for home, and was thinking of getting a MCI jh416. I know there's maintence and parts issues with it, but I was curious on opinions about the sound. Thanks
I've heard both good and bad. I've been told that you really have to search for a good one. Talk to the folks at Blevins Audio in Nashville. I think they have a MCI tech there. I have been looking for an analog board for the same application as you are and I think I've narrowed it down to a Neotek. They seem to be more consistent and sound really really good.
