Hey out there i was wondering if anybody knew some good settings for a mesa boogie that would give me the godsmack kind of heavy metal sound. Anyway thanks you very much and rock on.
Crank the mids! (almost all the way) Set the back of the head to the "tube" setting, I think it's the spungy setting. Keep the gain and presence low, almost a clean crunch. Double your tracks. Less is more, if you use too much gain/treble/presence, (once you add more tracks) it will all get lost in the mix.
Remember, you can achieve alot with panning. Good luck.
