i just bought and recieved my first piece of gear which i wouldn't hesitate to call pro. it's a pair of ATC SCM 50 ASLs. these will be the most valuable thing in the DAW i am starting, and i guess, therefore, the most difficult part is over. i think i got a hell of a deal, they only cost me 5900 australian dollars including shipping. not sure what the conversion rate is right now, but that's pretty good considering they list new here in oz for around 24,000. if anyone has any experience with or coments about these monitors, i'd love to hear your opinions!
