Have you visited the nuendo.com forum? If not you would be wise to go there. N2 is riddled with so many bugs it's sickening. Now instead of offering more updates to fix the bugs, there already talking about N3, which won't be free!!! What a waste of my money and time.

Granted, there are a some bugs in N2, but most aren't show-stoppers imho. N2 is a great piece of software, and deserves a look. The entire audio engine has been updated from N1 to N2.

Nuendo 2 is a great software. I am sure you can find a bug on every program out there, and Nuendo may have a few... I have not come across one thus far.

I have found after doing AB tests that NUENDO 2 has a supperior quality sound than protools or logic. The algorithms used on the Nuendo 2.0 engine are great.

Now as far as the advice cprovenzo gives, well... you can go to any manufacturer's forum and will find out that they are packed of people having problems with their programs. in part this is because a lot of them do not even know how to use their software or configure their gear right, so they blame their stupidity on the program and go to the place where they think they find the answer from the manufacturer.

The best advice I can give you is simple: Ask your "friends or colleages" who work with those products, you will find a better answer from them. Ask them why they use it? and think if that aplies to you. Do not ask some one who has never used it...

Nuendo 2 is much much better than it's previous version. And it is in my oppinion far supperior that most of its competitors.
