After the last topic everyone seems quite satisfied, hmm.

How about quantizing itself? Do you quantize all your instruments?
No, I'm not talking about MIDI but Guitars, Basses, Piano or Brass?

Do you just go strip silence, quantize and give it a go? :D

Hi Niko,

I don't quantize audio at all.
It's okay for midi, but if there are serious problems in audio recordings, I simply push the record button and do it again.
Some rehearsal before the recording might help as well ...
And it's m u c h faster to re-record with good musicians than to start to fiddle around with audio editors.

Moin Walter, I agree with you, if you have a good musician...quantizing would destroy the performance. But imagine you got a track to mix, that already is recorded and badly edited, but the signal has definite attacks, that could be used for strip silence, like a clavinet. Any other opinions?
