I don't know if anyone could help me on this. .but I've had this old mixer and extender sitting in my basement for a few years. I decided to put it on Craigslist, but I have no idea what it is worth. and can't find ANYTHING about it on the interweb. I thought it wasn't worth much, so I put it up for $50. .within an hour I already had a bunch of interested buyers emailing me. and naturally I'm scared that I under priced it significantly. At this point it's a guessing game. but any idea how much something like this would be worth? Sorry about the blurry pics. I had the camera set to 80 ISO by accident.
It's a Tapco Sound Reinforcement Mixing System 6100RA AND a vintage Tapco Expander Mixing System 6100EA, PLUS a hard shell case. Pics:
Thanks a lot for the help, I'm looking forward to using these forums

A new six channel Tapco (the reincarnation of Gregg Mackie's original Tapco company) goes for about $60. The new 8 channel Tapco mixer is about $150.
Thank you so much for that info. Could you by any chance post a link? I literally did at least 20 google searches looking for any info...and could not find anything about a price anywhere. Someone else is selling it for 500 on craigslist which seems WAY to steep.
Thanks again for the info, I appreciate it.

This one didn't even sell for $30.
Google search terms "tapco 6100ra" secondary search add term "mixer"

Man, those mixers aged very badly. Ol'Greg injected some sort of grease into the pots, and this made them "feel" really good when they were new. But as the mixers aged, that grease would turn into a SOLID and the pots would "freeze up". The way that they were mounted in the mixer made them a NIGHTMARE to replace. Surprisingly this one has held up pretty well. But I agree, I would never use this thing for studio purposes, which is why I'm looking to sell it...it is of no use to me.
Apparently the case is an Anvil, which boosts the value up a a bit, so I'm probably going to clean it up, put some new foam in it, and it'll be good to go.
