Came across one of these in my local music shop. Are they worth the money or is it just a gimmick?
My thoughts are it may well absorb sound energy that would hit the mic from behind, but what about the reflections from the front of the mic?

Hi,
I know a guy who owns one of them. He is an actor and he does a lot of commercials and voiceovers. He told me that thanks to this filter he is able to record his voice in any room and it sound just like his studio room. I've also read a good review in EiS (Polish recording mag). Finaly, I know that it sells very well. Unfortunately it's quite expensive.
