as soon as i upgrade my computer i'll start recording at 24b/88.2

i noticed a difference on cymbols.

In nuendo is there a way to record in multiple sampling rates?
i would love to try recording some things at 88.2 and some at 44.1

I am waiting for the next generation of Pro Tools HD+. lol

Higher track count at 96k (same as present 128 voice @ 44k/48k) and maybe Ultra high Sample rates at 384k ( poor bats!!!).
At the moment, still sticking with 44.1k/24.

I voted.

24/44 and my soundcard only has 20bit converters.

I'm surprised, to say the least. I had expected 24/48 to be the clear winner.

I figured that the majority would be 44/16 but then I forgot about 24bit.

working at 44k/24 ya only need to dither down to 16 bits, avoiding the potentially damaging frequency conversion.
I used to work at 48k/24 and it was a pin in the ass waitinh for bounces and so, doing 2 bounces, lots of sd2 files/folders.

I've been doing 44 but I'm going back to 48. It's better for archiving in case you end up putting it on a DVD in the future so I'm told. I'm not worried about the math.

do you mean "pure" DVD-Audio or soundtrack of a DVD video?
