Someone posted a while ago a website from Germany where we could get the ADI 8 Pro for around 970 bucks... I remember the site having different currencies where you could choose from... anyone remember that?
I've found it for $1345.00us at http://www.audiomidi.com this seems to be the going rate that I have found. If you find out about that place let me know.
I heard someone saying that the ADI 8 is pair for the Apogee stuff, beign better in some points, like clock and others... this was a test on a german magazine...
I tried buying some stuff from musicians-gear. i wanted to buy a Sherman Filterbank and a Waldorf microwave. When i went to checkout though, they were doing the currenct conversions from USD into Euro. The Euro-USD exchange is much worse than the USD-DM exchange. With shipping, duties etc, it wasn't worth it.
Mebbe you can buy from them with DM. If so, I don't know how.

What I heard was on par with the MOTU stuff, not up to speed with the Purple boxes, and I wouldn't consider them in the same thought with the Lucids.
