The MA-2.2 is one fantastic mic pre and there is no doubt that the SAA-1.1 will be just as smooth, clear and transparent.



Every time some one hears this pre on some thing like an acoustic guitar, piano or snare they are amazed. This is one fast reacting mic preamp and its ability to respond and capture instruments with a lot of transients is very impressive.



Who ever wins this mic pre is going to be one happy camper. :)

Thanks e-cue, I am glad you found the competition interesting. Good luck with your entry.



A lot of people think that Opto compressors are inherently slow attack devices, however with the SOC1.1, I believe we have overcome this problem. I use it on the mix bus all the time, and do not have problems with slow attack. Definitely worth a listen...
