Hello!

I'm looking for the best professional ready-to-go audio workstation, a strong PC laptop... I'd like it to be ultra-compatible with music production/recording software, and audio interfaces... I'd like it to be powerful (core i5 or i7). I'd like it to be the most silent possible...

I found these :
- Rain : [="http://raincomputers.com/products/livebook LiveBook - Mobile Audio Workstation | Rain Computers[/]="http://raincomputer… LiveBook - Mobile Audio Workstation | Rain Computers[/] and [[url=http://="http://rainrecordin… Rain Thinkpad LiveBook | Rain Recording (UK & Europe)[/]="http://rainrecordin… Rain Thinkpad LiveBook | Rain Recording (UK & Europe)[/]
- ADK : http://www.adkproaudio.com
- PC Audio Labs : PCAudioLabs
- MusicXPC : MusicXPC Products
- Studio Cat : http://www.studiocat.com/

I don't really need firewire at the moment, I'd just like a laptop specific for music production. I'm fed up to have laptops that always have compatibility problems, or that don't allow to use the full power of the computer for music production...

Do you have any advice? Did you try these laptops?

Thanks a lot!

Yes, I have their new i5 laptop loaded with Win7 64 and 8 gig ram. It handled Sequoia 11 no problem. Sequoia is a beast of a DAW.
I trusted this laptop for recording a very serious competition of choirs over the course of two days and it was perfect. If for a second I felt they weren't up to par I would remove that article.

I just posted this in another thread because someone exclaimed no one builds a laptop with the new T1 chipset. Well PCAudioLabs does:

Their Mobile 17 MC has a built-in TI Firewire chipset. It's one beast of a laptop as it uses a desktop style Intel Core i7 processor.
