Because of this, twenty four bits in PT has less headroom than 24 bits in Cubase. There could be a deeper explanation but I look at Tad's super impressive resume, his articulate way of explaining audio issues, and his impeccable personal hygiene and the words "operator error" magically appear in my brain.
