Thanks in advance for any help or insights on this topic: Although I do keep a list of the frequency ranges of many instruments in order to perform EQ carving on mixes, there are many other instruments (such as synthesizers) which I have no idea what the frequency range is. Is there some plugin or software I can use to run the audio through and get a visual and/or numeric readout of the actual frequency of any given instrument short of plugging in a real oscilloscope ? Any advice will be appreciated ! Cheers !
