If I were to use another Console for a sub mixer,To hook it up to the main console,would it be as easy as going out the master bus of the sub mixer to 2 channels line input on the main console?

I might need to use a submixer. 24 channel multicore/snake (what's it actually called?) and only a 12 + 2 stereo mixer. The old one has 4 + 3 stereos, a master and a monitor output. Ought to be useful once we find a way of filling the stage up with even more mikes than is necessary.
Now to get a big enough table...
