Being that this is a budget gear forum,I would like responses to be within the $100-$150 range. Yes, the more expensive the better, but I record as a hobby (stress relief), not professional. Personal experience would be great. I will be using this in a DAW set up running Adobe Audition 1.5 going straight into a Audiophile 2496 soundcard.

Also, if you can ever score a Tubester, they sell new for $300 and up and I can testify it's the best tone I've ever hear from a floor guitar pre.
