Nero WILL do it, but last time I checked, you need a specific license to burn to more than 2 at the same time. That license is pricey! (They used to have one for 1-2 burners (standard license), 3 burners and 7 burners - the price for the 7 burner license was almost $1K!)

Also, I would ONLY suggest doing this with SCSI burners. I had the 3 license version for a while and on IDE drives that were sharing IDE channels, I would OFTEN wind up with coasters. I hooked up a seperate PCI to IDE bus and put each burner on its own IDE channel and the errors went down, but didn't disappear.

My recommendation would be to do what I did - get a standalone duplicator. I have 2. (One of which I might be selling for a good deal here soon -- was that subtle enough or did I come off as a whore??)

The first one I bought burned 7 discs at a time and used lite-on drives in a scsi configuration. I like the unit - it works VERY well and VERY quickly and I have NEVER burned a defective disc. It has a built-in hard drive which is broken into something like 40 partitions. Each partition holds a disc. Therefore, you can have 40 disc images stored in the machine and you simply call up which one you want and tell it to burn. It's very nice and quick. However, it's not automated. Though you can burn a thousand in a long evening, you've got to sit there and do it 7 at a time.

The next one I bought is an automated machine which burns and prints up to 50 discs on its own. You hook it up as a USB printer more or less. The software it comes with is actually made by Sonic (you know, the same guys who make the big-time mastering software). Then you tell it how many you want, what you want to print on it and then you walk away. Come back a little while later and voila, 50 discs are waiting for you.

It uses a Pioneer DVD/CD burner which I also like and while it's not anywhere NEAR as quick as the 7-at-once tower, I don't have to sit there with it and babysit it.

So, you guessed it, I'm selling the tower. It's great and all, don't get me wrong, I just value my time and convenience over sheer, unadultered speed.
