i have an acoustic electric guitar.. B-Band UST pickup (under the saddle). .and it goes thru an ibanez preamp to the jack of the guitar.
When i plug a cable into it.. the sound is very low. Even when volume is all the way up on the guitar, and on an amp. The noise gets real loud..but the sound of the guitar is very weak. Any suggestions?

Does this require a battery on the guitar any where? Is the battery low? Even if it is not low, some batteries simply dont have the output correct. I have even seen lately, a nine-volt with reversed polarity right out of the package......"Gee, why doesnt this BRAND NEW BATTERY work????"
