Dude you STOLE that mic. For that price I would NEVER sell it only add more mics as time goes on. Its a nice mic to have in the locker as it does a lot of things well.

I have never heard a bad review of this particular mic, so I'm wondering where you got this research information. It certainly isnt the best for some things but it IS a quality built and reliable mic.

I'll give you double what you paid right now for it.

Keep what ya got, it's a good mic. Like DDog said, if you want something "better" then pony up the cash for something additional.

The point would be using the money spent on the first mic in order to get a better -- as I'm a poor college boy, I can't afford to have both good and bad mics, and I'd rather just have good ones.

Understood, we've all been there. A little advice: You won't be poor forever (hopefully) and at some point down the road you'll kick yourself for selling off one mic for another. Keep it.

My next large capsule condenser microphone will probably be one of the Shure models. I've used the KSM 27 and was amazed at its beautiful smooth airy quality. You lucky dog!

Bent, where were you with that advice 25 years ago when I sold off my Les Paul ($225), purple paisley Tele($125), Walnut ES-335($250), porta-B and leslie, etc....ad nauseum?

Played around with this quite a bit. It's beautiful. It makes even me sound delightful.

Yes, absolutely no reason to sell off ANYTHING unless you are totally out of uses for it (which you're not).
Although money does come into it...
