hi there,
I just purchased Kontakt 2, installed it as a VST Plug-in, everything seemed to work ok, got a message saying sth like installation completed. If I check in My Computer (Windows XP), there is a file Program Files/Native Instruments/Kontakt 2 (with VSTPlugins) but when I go to Cubase and try to see on the list of VST Instruments menu, Kontakt 2 is not one of the choices available (like it should be, according to the manual) Any ideas?
thanx, greg
Sounds like Cubase isn't seeing the Kontakt .dll file, that is,
Sounds like Cubase isn't seeing the Kontakt .dll file, that is, the .dll isn't installed in a directory that Cubase has been told to look in. Try finding the Kontakt .dll file, then in Cuabse, go to 'Devices' > 'Plugin Information' > VST Tab > 'Add' > then add that folder that contains the .dll file.
