Hey all, I'm rather new to this and I am trying to figure out if there is anyway I can use a keyboard with a midi out as a midi controller?
Thanks,

The short answer is yes. I have a small setup with a yamaha keyboard as the controller for an alesis dm5, a Roland u220, a dd55 and all of it goes through an Akai me30p running in and out of a delta 1010lt and I think it can still turn on the coffee maker :)
I am not the most qualified to speak on this, but what am I the most qualified at, right? It can get convoluted and get your thinking inside out in the early part of setting up a midi setup if it is even a little bit complex...or is that just me?
Anyway, coffee is ready, gotta go.

MIDI Connectivity:
Full MIDI connectivity makes it easy to connect to other MIDI devices or PCs. Use PC sequencing software, play back songs downloaded from the Internet, move MIDI files to the PC for emailing, and more.
Looks like your there...hook up some MIDI cables and enjoy!
