Are you recording the acoustic guitar direct?

58 on vox, 57 on guit amp (tweed Princeton), direct out from bass amp (kustom bass amp III), acoustic guitar ran direct, crappy close mics on kit. Compression & eq on vocals, compression on overheads, compression & eq on acoustic, electric and bass no processing. Compression on master bus (3:1, fast attack slow release). plate verb on acoustic and overheads 

Oh yea and I never remixed that other song with melodyne…. Moved on to other stuff. 

Thanks for sharing some of your process. For suggestions on the mix. I’d drop the volume a few db on the acoustic when vocals are running.

What DAW do you use?

Studio one. Only because it works with my console…. And I know it really well

Nothing wrong with Studio One! What console are you using? I used to own the StudioLive and a few other products from PreSonus.
