Ive been using a pair of AKG -K240 55 ohms,for play back and for final mix downfrom working with the set of cans---I adjusted and and learned how to use the set-----so with that said,I decided to purchase a second set to try to make it easier to mix "at times".
Ill be a S.O.B.----the sound difference between both of them is a tad on the "Im pissed off side"--they do not sound alike!.
Can anyone advise me of a good pair of cans that I can truely trust! for sound reproduction? :evil:

I also use these headphones to mixdown with. Lots of bottom, or better yet, just the right amount of bottom.
I compared a mixdown with the Sony headphones, with a mixdown from my Mackie HR824's (near field monitors) and it was shocking how close they were in comparision.
