so, my original mbox is broken. I want to get something to replace it, but I do not want to spend the money on the usb cable and the Pro Tools... just the mbox itself. Where can I get this? OR. is there anything else I can use with Pro Tools that is cheaper then an mbox? I'm not really gonna be a stickler about quality here, Im a newb

Digidesign doesn't sell the original Mbox 1 anymore. You'd have to go with an Mbox 2 if you buy new. If my Mbox broke (I've got an oldie too), and still wanted to use Pro Tools, I'd probably just buy another Mbox from ebay or MusicGoRound.com as cheap as 130$ or so without the software and stuffs.
