Hi,
I have just bought the last version of n-Track Studio 7 for Windows and Osx.
I think it's very complete and cheap alternative software for audio production.
Someone tried it?
What's your opinion?

I'm sure that N-Track is a decent DAW. Personally, I think it would have been a better presentation if they had a better demo song. The mix isn't particularly good and well.......that's really the brunt of it. Isn't it? I've never used N-Track. I find it a bit cramped in the control department. The little knobs of the eq are too small. I'd be happy to open up a small window to edit eq. And lastly, in a purely superficial criticism, it's not a very pretty DAW. I know that has little effect on how it works but it's just an observation. It does not recognize midi with my Firestudio. Oh well. It's seems to work fine but I don't need another DAW. If I had to start anew and with a very small budget, I might pick it up. Then again, I might just save a bit more money and get Reaper which seems to work perfectly fine on my machine.

On another note, If they sold this really cheap. I mean $20 I bet they'd sell a lot of them. Sure they'd have to sell twice as many but I bet, they'd sell 4 or 6 times as many. It really would help though if they had a demonstration with a good song and a good mix. Otherwise it's not very compelling. I don't want to sound like a garage hack. I'm already a garage hack. I want to sound like a radio superstar. duh
