So I am checking out Acid Pro for the first time as I am looking to work on a solo guitar project and want to assemble some backing drum tracks etc.
So I have a few drum loop samples from beta monkey music, the problem is when I drop it in the time line and drag it out, it does not repeat the loop after the end of the firs tone. If I click at the end to start a new one there is a gap, I cant seem to but the loops up against each other, there always seems to be a gap.
Pardon my stupidity as I have never used any typing of looping software or anything before.

There is a gap usually because the sample loop does not end at the end of the bar. If you listen to it, it should be in sync. If not you need to adjust the time signature. If the time signature is something different than what the loop is at and you have snap to grid enabled, it will not line up properly. Don't ask me how to do this, it's in the manual.

lol ok I will refer to the manual, i just wasn't sure what I was looking at. The time sig is 4/4 but I was thinking it had something to do with the tempo of the loop? It seems the grid is locked to a certain tempo maybe?
and you know whats its like getting a new toy, who has time to sit and read the manual when you just want to open it and play :)
thanks hueseph

Like I said, there may not be a problem at all. Simply the loop ends before the bar does. If it sounds right, ignore the gap and be happy 8) .

lol well I figured out that adjust the grid size from a quarter note to a 16th note seemed to work out just fine :)
Well, glad you figured that out. And, you certainly didn't need
Well, glad you figured that out. And, you certainly didn't need me to do that as all my suggestions were useless. Whatayado?
