Personally I would take the 32 x 8. I don't know enough about the console to warrant spending 3000 but I would easily be able to work with 32 channels as opposed to 48(?). I'm assuming that the 24 x 24 is simply 24 send and 24 return. As opposed to the 32 x 8 which can be wired in-line(?). Even still I can work with 16 channels at a time. I guess it all depends on what you plan on using it for.
