This whole power conditioning thing is interesting. I was at a hi-fi show on Thursday and heard a system with around 10,000 euro($12,700) worth of Nordost conditioners and cables, as well as a special can of stuff to spray cables with every couple of weeks, and the difference was absolutely incredible. Now, the system itself was over 100 grand (Classe with B&W Nautilus speakers). It would be interesting to see what difference this stuff would make to recording gear, although I'm sure most of us would put the money into more mics, preamps etc.
