Masterlink Tutorial?

One good tutorial on mastering I've found is at the Propellerhead site: http://www.propellerheads.se/home/discover/

With the Masterlink's internal processing, you're best off;



1) carry your music around to a bunch of different playback systems



2) make notes on common problem frequencies



3) use the EQ to *cut* problem frequencies



4) Set up the limiter threshold to maybe just past where you start tapping digital 0.



5) Don't limit hard, and stay away from the comp.

Is there any literature or a tutorial that can walk me through typical settings used in mastering? I have a Masterlink and am using it for mixdown in my home studio. Not for release, mind you, but for my own songs. I am familiar with the functions ie eq, comp, normalizing by name but the manual does not go into detail about a typical mastering session. Would love a book called mastering for dummies!
