Hi

Wondering what to go for regarding orchestral samples.

I have a Korg Triton with 16 bit sounds that is OK. Just wondering if the following options are worth investing in? They are varying costs; what xtra do you feel you get for the money? Any users out there with experience.

I'm likely to use it mainly for tracking contemporary music, but may use it for composing orchestral scores at some point.

Garritan Orchestra

Miroslav Philharmonic

Gigastudio

Vienna Symphonic

Hi Rhydian,

I own and use Miroslav Philharmonik for two month now and I think it is awesome, it is so powerful, flexible and very simple to use and last but not least the sound is great and very natural and warm in a mix, the stretch engine is very useful too to control the vibrato speed or attack of a sound for instance. I don't know the other plugs but this one satisfies me and is not too expensive (especially if you own sampletank 2.0 already)
